outh Dakota based songwriter and worship leader, Naomi Dappen began writing songs from spontaneous moments during prayer and worship nights. 

A pastor’s kid and the 13th of 14 children, Naomi grew up immersed in worship and prayer. Alongside her siblings, she began leading worship at 14 years old.

A wife and mother of 3, she wrote songs at the piano while her toddlers played. It was during this season, she felt God call her to write the songs on her heart. Later, she worked for a church as a worship leader until she transitioned to be the Worship Director of a young adult ministry (tre Ministries) based out of Sioux Falls, South Dakota. There, she leads worship nights and trains young adults to lead worship. Her heart’s cry is to lead people to the feet of Jesus and see his bride united in worship. She aims to write songs for the church to sing; songs that are based on eternal truth, prophetic songs for the next generation, songs that bless God’s heart.  Whatever the style or purpose of the song,  at the core you will always find authenticity.

Outside of Jesus and her family, she loves traveling, pretending to be Joanna Gaines, eating Indian food, and whooping her kids at MarioKart.
