outh Dakota based songwriter and worship leader, Naomi Dappen began writing songs from spontaneous moments during prayer and worship nights.
A pastor’s kid and the 13th of 14 children, Naomi grew up immersed in worship and prayer.
A wife and mother of 3, she wrote songs at the piano while her toddlers played. It was during this season a passion to tell stories through song developed. Later, she worked for a church as a worship leader until she transitioned to be the Worship Director of a young adult ministry (tre Ministries) based out of Sioux Falls, South Dakota. There, she leads worship nights and trains young adults to lead worship. Her heart’s cry is to lead people to the feet of Jesus and be part of the restoration of His bride. She aims to write songs that tell stories and are a source of healing.
Outside of Jesus and her family, she loves traveling, pretending to be Joanna Gaines, eating Indian food, and whooping her kids at MarioKart.
If you're looking for an easy way to support current and future projects, my incredible friend created some great merch.
025 was a full year. If you follow me on social media, then you already know. But in case you don't, it was marked by lots of traveling (and, I mean, a lot), new music, job transition, my husband becoming a U.S. citizen, more songwriting, kids growing up, etc. I'm so grateful for your support! What's next? Aside from more travel, I have new music coming your way in 2026! I am releasing 3 worship songs that were recorded live at the Franklin Prayer House in Franklin, TN. I'll keep you posted on release dates! For now, feel free to listen to my most recent release.
Thank you for supporting my music!
